Sleep Better at your Apartments in San Luis Obispo

Get more sleep more often by following this advice from your community of apartments in San Luis Obispo

When was the last time you remember waking up in your apartments in San Luis Obispo feeling totally and completely refreshed? If it’s been awhile, it’s probably time to make some changes to your sleep schedule or your day-to-day habits. Getting a good night’s sleep is about more than just going to bed earlier. It’s about making changes in your diet, workout schedule and nighttime activities that will help you feel tired when you want to feel tired, and wake up every morning feeling completely refreshed and revitalized.

In the blog post below, we’ll be talking about some habits you can pick up that should help you get a better night’s sleep while living at Mustang Village. We’re not going to tell you to change your whole lifestyle or anything like that. Instead, we’ll be sharing a few little things you can do every day that will allow you to get more rest.

Without further delay, let’s dive right into this week’s blog post! When you’re done reading through it, please be sure to share the link to this page with your friends. Better yet, go ahead and share it with your neighbors at your community of apartments for rent in San Luis Obispo.

Take a cold shower at night

The first tips on our list is a life hack that will save you from a lot of sleepless nights spent tossing and turning in bed. Your body has to cool down before you can fall asleep, which is why it’s so difficult to fall asleep in a hot room. You can try turning your AC down or getting lighter blankets, but the best thing you can do for your sleep schedule is to take a cold shower before bed. It’ll help you cool your body down more quickly than it would on it’s own.

Wake up and workout

Waking up to a workout will help you reset your sleep schedule. It’ll be tough for the first week or so, but you’ll get used to it after awhile. Once you are used to waking up early, you’ll also be used to going to bed earlier because of how tired you are at night. Morning workouts have the added benefit of giving your body plenty of time to cool down throughout the rest of the day. While working out at night heats your body up and makes it hard to fall asleep on time, working out in the morning doesn’t give you that problem.

Write before bed

Before you get into bed and think about everything you have to do the next day, write it all down. Write down the things you’re worried about, the errands you have to run and everything else that’s on your mind. Once it’s on the paper, it will be less likely to pop up in your head while you’re trying to sleep.

Those are all the sleep tips we’ve got to share with you this week, residents! We’d like to thank you for taking some time out of your day to read this brand new blog, and we encourage you to check back in November when we post the next one!
